Hey there!
Gosh Sunday sure came round quick. It’s as if I blinked and wooosh Saturday had been ‘n’ gone.
This week I have been perusing the internet to try and find a Sunday School lesson that would fit in well with September and my apple theme. So imagine my joy when I came across two crafts in Pinterest (here and here) that met both of these. Very timely and also apple related! I love the craft and the lesson that is delivered with it.
So this week’s Sunday School lesson is based around Proverb 25:11:
The right word spoken at the right time is as beautiful as gold apples in a silver bowl. (ICB)
How true.
When delivering this Sunday School lesson, encourage children to think about the words which we could use to speak kindly, help each other and whether the advice we wish to give is ready to be received. Encourage them to think of words or phrases (gold apples) that can be used at the right time (in a silver bowl).
After you’ve allowed time for thought and discussion allow them to make a picture to help them focus on the real meaning of Proverb 25:11.
I have turned the crafts I have found (here and here) into a printable, however I give full credit to the original creators for their inspirations (here and here). If you would rather create the craft please visit their pages (here and here). However, if you prefer a printable please use these freely:
You can download these printables here for free until 09/08/2016.
Have a blessed day,
