Description

Students can identify jungle animals and they can name jungle animals.

But do they recognize jungle animals in print?

I made this resource to help students identify jungle animals and begin to understand that their names can be resembled as printed words!

In this activity, students look at the picture and say what they see. Then the trace the word. Finally they make the word. This can be done by copying the print above or using letter manipulatives! This resource is a multi-sensory approach to learning subject-specific vocabulary.
